Joyful, joyful, we adore You, God of glory, Lord of love; Hearts unfold like flow'rs before You, Op'ning to the sun above. Melt the clouds of sin and sadness; Drive the dark of doubt away; Giver of immortal gladness, Fill us with the light of day!

REFLECTION FOR MONDAY OF 2ND WEEK OF EASTER.

THEME: BORN FROM ABOVE, BORN OF THE SPIRIT.

BY: SR. J. K. OSIYEMI EHJ.

Jn 3: 1-8.

Nicodemus desired to know more about Jesus. As a result, he learnt that Baptism is rebirth through water and the Holy Spirit. When born again in this manner I am expected to live as a personal witness of Christ, renouncing sin and evil. Do I like Nicodemus affirm an evident truth? Do I daily renew my baptismal promises?

LET US PRAY
Jesus, my Lord and Saviour, give me the humility of Nicodemus. Enlighten me on whatever still confuses me about baptism, and other practices of my faith. May I always be your child and a member of the Church. Amen.
