40 DAYS JOURNEY WITH THE LORD. Day 21

DAY 21

Moderated by Fr Justin Nzekwe

DAILY CHALLENGE: Pray more.

DAILY THEME: Be proud of who you are

THINK ABOUT THIS: The greatest possession we have as Christians is faith. Faith unlocks our heritage as a member of the chosen race, a royal priesthood and a people set apart. We become worthy inheritors of God’s promises to Abraham, through faith in the fatherhood of Abraham. If we are a member of the chosen race, a royal priesthood, why is it that we allow troubles to pull us down and make us break faith. Why do you live your life as a wretch when you actually belong to a royal family in God.

Tell yourself, “I’m a royalty and special loved by God.” Think of the good things in your life, and stop complaining about the bad as though it only matter. Tap into the power of your inheritance today through faith.

Bible Reading – 1 Peter 2:9-10

But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light; Which in time past were not a people, but are now the people of God: which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy.

PRAY WITH ME

Lord, let me know who I’m and my inheritance through faith. May I discover once more my place as a member of a chosen race, a royal priesthood and a person set apart. Let me love you more and more. Let we feel the joy of your presence, and think less of my problems because you are bigger than them. Surround me with your presence that all contrary spirits may tremble at my presence.

Let your Holy Spirit accompany me on this journey to make it fruitful in my life.

(Say this prayer as many times as you can, today)

Our Father…….
Hail Mary…….
Glory Be……
Psalm 23:6 (3X)
Psalm 118:17 (3X)

TOMORROW’S CHALLENGE: Study the Bible – Discover more, your power in Christ.

***If you are interested in this spiritual journey, please let me know. Ask questions, tell me your challenges through your comments and never give up should you miss any day. God bless you. ***

***You may decide to accompany this journey with shorter fast, or by avoiding bad habits. And then daily Rosary****
