DAILY CHALLENGE: Study the Bible – Discover more, your power in Christ.
DAILY THEME: It is not yet over
THINK ABOUT THIS: The fact that every other person rejected you does not mean that God has rejected you. The fact that people are already saying that you are a failure does not mean that you are. Nobody is worthless and useless before God. No condition is irredeemable before him, for the stones already rejected by the builders have become the corner stone that is holding the foundation of the house.
Even Jesus was rejected and killed by the very people he had come to save, but God raised him up, and gave him the name above all other name that at name of Jesus, every kneel must bend (Philippians 2:9-10).
When God touches your life, people who know you in the past will not recognize you again. Those who rejected you will gather around you to seek your favour.
Trust God and you will not be disgraced. He will surely build you into his spiritual temple.
Bible Reading – 1 Peter 2:4-8
Coming to Him as to a living stone, rejected indeed by men, but chosen by God and precious, you also, as living stones, are being built up a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.
Therefore it is also contained in the Scripture, “Behold, I lay in Zion A chief cornerstone, elect, precious, And he who believes on Him will by no means be put to shame.”
Therefore, to you who believe, He is precious; but to those who are disobedient, “The stone which the builders rejected Has become the chief cornerstone,” and “A stone of stumbling And a rock of offense.”
They stumble, being disobedient to the word, to which they also were appointed.
PRAY WITH ME
Lord, when I’m despaired and think that all hope is lost, do not abandon me. When people around me reject me and loose every confidence in me, do not abandon me. Do not let me reject myself, or reject you either. Build me into a cornerstone. Restore life and favour unto my life, that my foes my see to their shame. Rebuild me into a new house that I will offer my sacrifice of praise unto you. Let your Holy Spirit accompany me on this journey to make it fruitful in my life.
