DAY 24

Moderated by Fr Justin Nzekwe

DAILY CHALLENGE: Stations of the cross, confession

DAILY THEME: We are more than conquerors

THINK ABOUT THIS: Many times have troubles or hardships led us astray. Many of us have lost faith in God’s power to save, many have questioned his omnipotence, many have abandoned the church of God in an ultimate search for a solution to there problem. You are not alone, and I also assure you that you are not the worst in God’s sight. Yet you have wondered away, and God is asking you to come back at this time. What actually is more important than the God that created? What can actually separate you from the love of Christ? Drop your burdens today at the foot of the cross, for God will surely see you through.
Bible Reading – Rom. 8:31-39

What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things? Who shall bring a charge against God’s elect? It is God who justifies. Who is he who condemns? It is Christ who died, and furthermore is also risen, who is even at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us.

Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? As it is written: “For Your sake we are killed all day long; We are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.”

Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

PRAY WITH ME

Lord, many times have I been broken by troubles and thus offend you. Oftentimes, I have valued earthly possessions more than you. I have also loved myself more than you that gave me the life I live. I come to you this day to ask for your forgiveness. I’m sincerely ready to follow you and to love you above all other things. Do accept me as your own, and make me a worthy instrument in your hand. Let your grace be upon me so that nothing can separate me from you again.

Let your Holy Spirit accompany me on this journey to make it fruitful in my life.

(Say this prayer as many times as you can, today)

Our Father…….
Hail Mary…….
Glory Be……
Psalm 23:6 (3X)
Psalm 118:17 (3X)

TOMORROW’S CHALLENGE: Confession. Reconcile with your God.

***If you are interested in this spiritual journey, please let me know. Ask questions, tell me your challenges through your comments and never give up should you miss any day. God bless you. ***

***You may decide to accompany this journey with shorter fast, or by avoiding bad habits. And then daily Rosary****
