DAILY CHALLENGE: Confession, Book mass
DAILY THEME: Conquering your fears
THINK ABOUT THIS:The greatest tool of the devil is fear, and the highest obstacle to human advancement is fear. Fear respects courage, and courage is built by knowing your stand, your rights and privileges as a child of God. The Bible made us to understand that the spirit we receive in not the spirit of timidity. Peter found himself sinking into the high sea, when fear creeped into his life, in spite of the presence of Jesus.
He continued sinking until he called Jesus for help. We have often failed because we believe we are going to fail, because we are afraid to try, because we underrate our capacity as children of God. Just trust God today.
Even though the devil is roaring round like a wild lion seeking for whom to devour, but we should stand up to him now, strong in faith and victory will be ours.
Bible Reading – 2 Tim. 1:6-7 , 1 Peter 5:8-9
Wherefore I put thee in remembrance that thou stir up the gift of God, which is in thee by the putting on of my hands. For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.
Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world.
PRAY WITH ME
Lord, fill me with your power to enable me overcome my fears. Make me stronger that my presence may scare the devil away. Let me know my rights as your child. Empower me to take over my place as your son/daughter. Let me be able to do those great things that once frighten me. Let your victory always follow me.
Let your Holy Spirit accompany me on this journey to make it fruitful in my life.
(Say this prayer as many times as you can, today)
