40 DAYS JOURNEY WITH THE LORD. Day 27

DAY 27

Moderated by Fr Justin Nzekwe

DAILY CHALLENGE: Charity – help the poor

DAILY THEME: Behold I am doing a new thing

THINK ABOUT THIS: Often, we find ourselves living our lives in the past. We try so much to forget about those ugly pasts, but they come slapping on our faces. This is the time to bury the past once and for all. The Lord assures you that he will do a new thing in your life. Just as one pressing of ‘Reset Button’ on your computer changes every setting, so would God reset your life for good. He will reset your past, your present and your future. He will align your life to your proper destiny. You don’t have to give up. Just give God some time in your life, and He will surely do a new thing in your life. He will transform that desert into a fertile land flowing with milk and honey.

Bible Reading – Isaiah 43: 18-21

“Do not remember the former things, Nor consider the things of old.
Behold, I will do a new thing,
Now it shall spring forth; Shall you not know it? I will even make a road in the wilderness And rivers in the desert. The beast of the field will honor Me, The jackals and the ostriches, Because I give waters in the wilderness And rivers in the desert, To give drink to My people, My chosen.
This people I have formed for Myself; They shall declare My praise.

PRAY WITH ME

Lord, do something new in my life. Restore my life to your radar so that I will operate in your own speed and direction. Help me to live above my past failures and disappointments. Help me to rediscover myself and your plans for my life. Let me experience your transformation and your heavenly touch. Let the world know that you are my God and that you have started a new thing in my life.
Let your Holy Spirit accompany me on this journey to make it fruitful in my life.
