REFLECTION FOR FRIDAY AUGUST 19 2022

Mt 22: 34 – 40.

Jesus affirms that love must be the motivating factor for all my actions. Love is both vertical and horizontal in dimension. It is the love of God and love of my neighbour. Love is the language that is understood by everyone: babies, youth and adult. Do I love the poor street beggar as much as I love Christ? Am I very harsh at home and an angel in the Church? Do I love my brother /sister in the same compound with me?

LET US PRAY
Lord Jesus, I implore you to give me a heart that truly loves you the Creator, and your creatures. Teach me daily to know that to love you is to love those you have created. Help me to first love those with me in the same environment before showing the love to outsiders. Amen.
