Reflection for Saturday February 19 2022

Mk 9: 2-13.

I thank you dear Jesus for the times I have had deep personal encounter and experience of you. I thank you also even for the dry times in prayer. Peter wanted to remain on the mountain, whereas there is work to be done in the valley. Do those periods of glimpses of heaven and the cherished moments with God lead me to be isolated, or more loving towards others?

LET US PRAY
Dear Jesus, I do not understand many things just like the three Apostles who were with you during your transfiguration. Enlighten me Lord. Let me recognize your servants and honour them accordingly. Let me listen more to you so that my faith may grow deeper, and I can see beyond apparent happenings to a more spiritual reality. Amen.
