REFLECTION FOR TUESDAY AUGUST 2 2022

Mt 14: 222 – 36.

Like Jesus who went out in the early morning to pray, I also want to be faithful to my time of daily morning prayer before the start of the day’s work. Jesus is calming my fears and worries as he calmed the sea. He is healing my emotions as well. When my faith trembles, do I like Peter call out to Jesus for help?

LET US PRAY
Lord Jesus, help me to cherish the essence of prayer in my life. Make me prayerful like you o Lord. Help me in times of temptation, trials, difficulties disappointments and illness. Calm me when I am afraid of future uncertainties. Give me the grace to walk over the water of doubt, the tempest of fear and the waves of confusion. Let me not sink into ignorance of your word. Jesus my savior, speak to me in my fears, pain and agony. Amen.
