Reflection for Tuesday March 1 2022

Mk 10: 28-31.

Jesus is assuring me that whoever gives up something valuable for His sake will be repaid several times over, even in this life. In other words, no one who trades with God can ever be at a loss. I am happy today as Jesus enumerates the good reward that awaits me for being his faithful follower. However, as my experience tells me there are persecutions and some unpalatable inconveniences as a cost for being a disciple of Christ. It’s never rosy all the time. Do I give up and renounce my faith in the face of challenges and trials? Do I regularly engage in faith sharing activities with my family members?

LET US PRAY
Lord Jesus, give me the grace to humbly serve you so as to be qualified for heaven. I want to follow you with all my heart. Give me the needed courage. Let me not be carried away by worldly values and deceptive messages that bombard me daily. May I be steadfast and focused on my goal; the salvation of my soul. Amen.
