FORGETTING GOD

FORGETTING GOD…

In the wilderness, the children of Israel exchanged “ELYON” their glory for the image of a bull that eats grass. Moses could not hold back his rage at the harshness of their ingratitude and two tablets of stone experienced the hardness of the ground.

Imagine the pain of a mother who has been forgotten by the children she bore and nursed! Tell me the medicine that would easy such a pain if you know?

When we fail to forgive those who offend us, we forget God who forgives our most grevious sins.

When we fail to give to the poor, we forget God who provides plenty for us.

When we fail to care for the neglected, we forget God who cares us for when no one shows up.

When we fail to protect the weak, we forget God who protects us.

How can we forget God? “Forgetting God” is a call to remember God by loving sincerely our neighbour as ourselves.

Love.
