BY: Fr Deotacious Chikontwe SMA

Prov 30:5-9; Psalm 119:29, 72, 89, 101, 104, 163; Luke 9:1-6

FROM OUR FIRST READING
Our first reading this morning, reminds us that every word of God is true. We can trust in God completely because His teachings guide us and protect us from harm. In a world where truth is often twisted or ignored, the Word of God remains firm and reliable.

FROM OUR GOSPEL READING
In our gospel passage, Jesus sends His apostles to preach and heal. They are given a special mission to bring the message of God’s love and healing to others. This reminds us that we are also called to share God’s love in our own lives.

CONCLUSION
The liturgy of today, calls us to trust that God knows what is best for us. Instead of relying on our own understanding or the opinions around us, we are invited to rely on God’s Word. By doing so, we can live with confidence, knowing that God is always leading us in the right direction.
Finally, let us always remember that, we may not be sent out in the same way as the apostles, but we still have the responsibility to bring hope and care to those around us. Through small cats of kindness, words of encouragement, and living out our faith, we can share God’s message of healing and love.

Have a Blessed Wednesday everyone.
