It’s already the second part of the Season of Advent (December 17-24) and the Maiden is heavily pregnant with the baby Jesus. The greatest sign that we were promised by the prophet Isaiah has come many years ago, and he is still with us. But in a special way, on this Sunday, we once again dwell on this promise, that just as God gave a sign to Ahaz through the prophecy of Isaiah, so also shall we continually be led to Jesus Christ, our most important SIGN in the world; He is Emmanuel, God is with us.

Friends, the King of Glory constantly stands at the doors of our hearts, seeking to transform us with his presence. Do we have clean hearts and pure hearts? Are our desires on worthless things? Let us not forget that as Christians, we have been given grace through Jesus Christ, to preach the obedience of faith to all pagan nations in honour of his name. This is our Apostolic Mission. What is God’s Spirit asking of me today. Will I, like St. Joseph, bend to God’s will, irrespective of what it’ll cost me? May we find the strength to prepare our hearts, that the maiden’s child may find us ready and waiting, Amen.

Good morning dear. Have an amazing Sunday today.
