HOMILY OF 3RD SUNDAY IN ORDINARY TIME — YEAR C
HOMILY THEME: “TODAY THIS SCRIPTURE HAS BEEN FULFILLED IN YOUR EARS”

Nehemiah 8:2-6, 8-10, 1 Corinthians 12:12-30, Luke 1:1-4; 4:14-21
In Gospel 1:1-4,4:14-21, we observed that Jesus decided to start his work in Galilee and in the synagogue.
Jesus respected the activities in the synagogue and showed a great concern in identifying with his immediate village.
Jesus declared his plan for humanity, those who are poor or in need of God, those who are underrated for their conditions that He has come to retrieve their lost joy. What a wonderful glad tidings brought by Jesus for me and you. A plan that contains Good News holds the audience and attracts good reputation. All eyes should focus on Jesus who is our teacher and master.
