INTRODUCTION
Friday in the Octave of Easter invites us to reflect on the power of faith, recognizing Jesus in daily life, and trusting in his guidance. The readings show how Jesus brings healing and renewal through faith and how he is present even in simple moments.
FROM OUR FIRST READING
In the first reading for Friday, Peter explains that the man unable to walk was healed through the power of Jesus’ name. This miracle shows that Jesus continues to work through his followers, bringing healing and renewal. The man’s joy and restored ability to walk are a sign of the new life that comes from faith in Christ.

WHAT DO WE LEARN FROM
OUR FIRST READING?
This moment reminds us that Jesus’ power is not limited to the past. Through faith, he brings healing, strength, and hope into our lives today. It may not always be physical healing, but Jesus works to renew our hearts and guide us forward.
By placing our faith in him, we open ourselves to the healing and strength he offers, even in the most challenging times.
FROM OUR GOSPEL READING
In our Gospel reading today, the disciples at first do not recognize Jesus when he stands on the shore. They are focused on their work and do not realize it is him until later. This reminds us that Jesus is often present in simple, everyday moments, even when we do not see him at first.
*WHAT DO WE LEARN FROM
THE GOSPEL READING?*
The disciples’ experience encourages us to stay open to seeing Jesus in our own lives. He may appear through the kindness of others, the beauty of nature, or moments of peace and reflection. Recognizing Jesus requires a heart that listens and watches for his presence.
CONCLUSION
This reflection of today, remind us to live with trust and faith in Jesus’ presence. By recognizing him in our daily lives and following his guidance, we experience his renewal and peace. May these reflections inspire us to grow in faith and share his hope with others.
I am wishing everyone a blessed Friday with a wonderful weekend ahead !
