By: Fr. Justus
December 8
(a) Mary was conceived immaculate and 1858, Mary appeared in “person” to Bernadette of Lourdes and said: “I am the Immaculate Conception”. We now talk about the “Immaculate Conception” as a human person.
(b) The heart is the seat of conception of thoughts as Jesus said: “For out of the heart come evil thoughts—murder, adultery, sexual immorality, theft, false testimony, slander” (Matt.15:19).

(c) As a human person, what do we at times conceive and nurture in our hearts for other; lust, hatred, anger, malice and slander? Such should not be conceived and not delivered among us. Happy Feast of Immaculate Conception of Mary.
