The Sisters of Jesus The Saviour Convent released a statement revealing that four nuns who were kidnapped in Nigeria’s Imo state last Sunday have been released unconditionally.
The General Secretary of the Convent, Sis. Zita Ihedoro said their hearts were full of joy and said that “it’s a memorable day for us”.
The four nuns were on their way to a morning mass on Sunday when they were abducted in the Okigwe-Umulolo area of the state, the convent earlier said in a statement.
