LONELINESS OF UNIQUENESS

The human person is not created to be a loner. Thus, good relationship with fellow human beings make life meaningful and worth living. However, there is a loneliness that should not be regretted despite its pain. It is the LONELINESS OF UNIQUENESS.

When you are lonely because you have decided to live your life for God and not the world, such loneliness, is unique. It often comes naturally. Friends may not understand your new resolves to quitting certain bad habits you once considered fun with them. They may stop calling you or picking your calls.

Wanting to overcome the loneliness that results from righteous living often leads to the compromise which brings about the loneliness of depression in the nearest future. Friend, abhor loneliness but be uniquely lonely!
