THEME: HE WHO ENDURES TO THE END WILL BE SAVED

BY: SR. J. K. OSIYEMI, EHJ.

Mt 10:17 – 22.

The decision to follow Jesus does not stamp me with instant immunity against misunderstanding and suffering from others. I need the grace of endurance as I deal with tension in my relationship with family, friends and society. Is the cause of division based on spiritual or material matters? Do I waver and lack courage in the face of injustice, corruption and falsehood?

LET US PRAY
Dear Jesus, you did not promise me a problem-free life, rather you said I will be saved if I endure to the end. Please, give me the grace of endurance; the ability to withstand hardship, adversity and stress for your sake. Help me to hold on to my conviction of the truth till the very end. Amen.
