REFLECTION FOR FRIDAY OF 14TH WEEK IN ORDINARY TIME.

THEME: SHEEP AMONG WOLVES.

Mt 10: 16 – 23.

Working for God is not without its challenges. It demands courage and determination. It is not always rosy. However, Jesus assures me that the Spirit will speak through me when I encounter obstacles in the task he has entrusted to me. Do I realize that I need tact, wisdom and prudence in dealing with the wolves of life? Do I seek God in all I do and say? Am I wise, but innocent?

LET US PRAY.
Dear Lord Jesus, grant me perseverance in serving you. Teach me to trust in you, and never to be unduly worried, for there is nothing too big for you to handle. Come to my aid and speak for me and through me. Inspire my silent thoughts, speech and deeds. Give me your wisdom from on high neatly clothed with innocence. Amen.
