REFLECTION FOR FRIDAY OF THE 3RD WEEK OF LENT.

THEME: CATCHING SOULS FOR GOD.

Lk 5: 1-11.

Jesus is asking me to let down the nets of my life for a great catch of spiritual and joyful experiences. Do I obey the gentle stirrings of my heart that call me to fish out those Jesus wants to catch for deeper relationship with Him? Like St. Patrick, am I willing to preach the gospel of forgiveness to those who once oppressed me?

LET US PRAY
Lord Jesus, help me not to be afraid of following you. May I take active part in the mission of catching souls for you so that your Kingdom on earth may expand, and people may come to experience your loving mercy. Amen.
