REFLECTION FOR FRIDAY OF THE 5TH WEEK OF LENT.

THEME: JESUS DOES GOD’S WORKS.

BY: SR. J. K. OSIYEMI, EHJ.

Jn 10: 31 – 42.

When the Jews accused Jesus of blasphemy he challenged them to accept his works if they could not accept his words. Jesus’ claim of consciousness of being God’s son got him into trouble. I too must be self-aware of God’s life in me. I must know that I pray and practice good acts because it is what God wants of me. Do I know that I can argue with words, but works (deeds) are beyond argument? Do I possess the tacts of how to relate with toxic people? Why do I works of mercy and love?

LET US PRAY
Jesus, you are the Son of God, help me to know you more through your promises in the Bible, and by the miracles and wonders you do in my life everyday. Help me to know when and how to avoid energy drainers. May I be more conscious of your spirit in me. May the work I do reflect your divine goodness. Amen.
