REFLECTION FOR THE FEAST OF ST. MARK, EVANGELIST.

THEME: PROCLAIM THE GOOD NEWS.

Mark 16:15-20.

Jesus commands us to go out and preach His Word to the whole world. Lord, I really wish to follow this command, but it is hard for me to speak openly in certain places and before certain people. Do I realize that I also preach when I bear wrongs patiently, give gentle answer, help an aged person, advise an erring youth, etc. Do I seek miracles, wonder and power in wrong places?

LET US PRAY
Dear Jesus, thank you for your miracles in my life: saving me from sickness, danger and accidents. Help me to have the strength to speak about You when called upon to do so. It is my earnest desire to spread the good news. Grant me the wisdom to know what to say, how to say it, and when to say it. Thank you Lord for my faith. Let all my actions draw people close to your Kingdom. Amen.
