Mt: 28: 16 – 20.

Jesus is with me always. He stays with me to the end. After his resurrection and before his ascension, he invites me and authorized me to go, baptize and teach. He wants me to get Christianity out of inside my head to my hands, legs and lips. Have I ‘baptized’ others with my prayers, care, and love? Do I reach out to others with a listening ear, a warm welcome, a friendly heart and a helping hand? Do I worship and praise God continually? Have I ever experienced the glory, beauty and majesty of Jesus?

LET US PRAY
Lord Jesus, you are always with me. You did not leave me as orphan. Fill me with the same inner joy that the disciples experienced after you were taken up to heaven. You are sending me to reach out to all nations and people and make them your disciples. Give me the grace to be faithful to this mission. By your ascension, make me your true witness, and let me one day come to enjoy the beatific vision and your glorious splendour. Amen.
