Reflection for the Solemnity of Mary Mother of God
Homily Theme: MARY, MOTHER OF GOD

Lk 2: 16-21.
All the events (the message of the shepherds, the host of angels, the guiding star, the three wise men, etc) of the birth of Jesus led Mary to deeper contemplation, not just amazement. Do I reflect and pray over the daily events of my life? Do I love Mary for accepting to be the virgin Mother of Jesus?
LET US PRAY
Thank you Almighty Father for a brand new year. During this year may I follow the gentle and prayerful example of Mary, Mother of God, the new ark of the covenant. May I also graciously carry within me the message of love and joy of Christ. May I be an instrument of peace. Amen.
