Mt 2: 13 – 15, 20 – 23.
Mary and Joseph loyally cared for Jesus, and protected him from the threat of Herod. They both played their roles as responsible, loving and caring parents. They joined hands to nurture and train the child Jesus. Mary shielded him with her maternal mantle against the biting. Am I a loyal citizen of my country?
LET US PRAY
Thank you Heavenly Father for the gift of Mary and Joseph. May I learn from them how to be diligent in my duty towards my beloved nation. May I play my role as a responsible and patriotic citizen of my country. Amen.
