REFLECTION FOR WEDNESDAY JUNE 29 2022

Mt 16: 13 – 19.

Peter confessed Jesus to be the Christ, and he was tasked with a fresh mission, a new responsibility. He was given the keys of the Kingdom of heaven. Jesus loves me and also wants me to know him and to work for him despite my impetuousness and weaknesses. Who is Jesus for me? What mission did he give me? Like Paul do I believe that the Lord will always rescue me from evil?

LET US PRAY
Lord Jesus Christ, you are my Friend, my Saviour. I trust in you and I believe that you are the Christ. Empower me with your Spirit of piety. Build your love in me so that I can win souls for you. Help me to realize my own mission and carry it out very diligently. Help the leadership of the Church to serve you faithfully. Amen.
