REFLECTION FOR TUESDAY OF 2ND WEEK OF EASTER.

THEME: BEING BORN OF THE SPIRIT.

BY: SR. J. K. OSIYEMI EHJ.

Jn 3: 7-15.

Today, Jesus talks about the difficulty of foreseeing and knowing the action of the Holy Spirit: in fact, “it blows where it pleases,” and I do not even know where the wind comes from or goes. Jesus ties it with the testimony He is also giving and the need to be born from above. How often do I renew myself spiritually from deep inside so that I can become a new person in Christ? Do I know where the wind comes from or goes? Can I with my limited knowledge fathom the mystery of the elements of nature: water, air, fire?

LET US PRAY
Lord Jesus, I can’t fully comprehend nature, and never will. You are awesome, and your wonderful work is splendid. Give me the grace to enjoy being with you in contemplative presence. Let your Spirit blow me so that good things happen in my life, and wonder and conversion be the result. Help me to lift you up through the practice of virtues, so that others may know that you live in me. Give me the grace to be a great believer of yours so that I can attain eternal life. Amen.
