REFLECTION FOR TUESDAY OF THE 1ST WEEK OF LENT.

THEME: OUR FATHER: PATTERN OF ALL PRAYERS

Mt 6: 7-15.

Prayer is the inner engine that I need in order to keep going. Jesus himself prayed at different occasions. The Lord’s prayer was given by him to us as the pattern of all prayers. It asks for bread for the present, forgiveness for the past, help for temptation of the future. Do I pray often? Do I see God as a Father? What other image of God do I have?

LET US PRAY
God my Father, accept my prayer of praise and adoration. I give you my agenda, my time and my heart. Let your will, not mine, be done. Teach me how to pray. Tell me what to do, where to go, and how to speak. Help me to forgive all who have offended me. Amen.
