SILENT MOVEMENTS

When every of our movements or steps are announced, we often make ourselves prone or susceptible to the attack of our enemies.

Not every foundation should be laid in public. There is a magnificent edifice I discovered around the area I resided some years ago. Something that amazes me about the edifice is its sudden emergence. I never knew when its foundation was laid.

Life has taught me that certain movements we make or steps we take in life demands silence. When every of our movements or steps are announced, we often make ourselves prone or susceptible to the attack of our enemies.

The steps of the son of the Carpenter of Galilee to Calvary was not considered by his foes as significant until He said it is finished and the temple veil was divided and humanity’s redemption won.

Dear, learn to take some of your great steps in silence so that your glorious and magnificent arrival would keep the world in wonder.

Have a blissful weekend.

Love,

– Fr Abiagom Augustine cm
