STAND YOUR GROUND …
Your ground is Jesus Christ and righteousness. You must stand your ground when the spirit of the rulers of darkness rise up against you and troubles come your way. Ensure you do not shift grounds (Ecclesiastes 10:4).
Stand your ground in my understanding means three important steps to victory in Christ; which are:
*Do Not Be Afraid – Dear, God has not given you the spirit of timidity (II Tim 1:7). So, fear not, for God is with you (Isa 41:10)
* Do Battle – We wrestle not against flesh and blood… therefore put on the whole armour of God… (Ephesians 6:12-17). God trains your hands for Battle and your fingers for war (Psalm 144:1).
*Exercise Dominion – Remember that God gave humanity dominion in Adam and Eve over the universe and everything contained therein ( Genesis 1:27-28). You are the image of God, exercise dominion. Christ gave you authority over every power of darkness, the serpents and scorpions of this world (Luke 10:19); exercise dominion.
As you stand your ground, may every mountain standing before you today be levelled into a plain ground in the name of Jesus Christ the Lord. Have a victorious weekend.
