Not every plant’s thorn is visible to the eyes. You wouldn’t know some plants are thorny until you touch them. The one who wears the shoe is the one who often knows where it pinches. People may admire your shoe, whereas, something in it makes you cry.
Sometimes, you make so much effort to remove the thorn(s) in your life and succeed not. The thorn becomes a frustration unto you without the slightest knowledge of your neigbhour. The nature of the thorn in peoples life varies. Thorns may be spiritual, physical or psychological. Dear, have you a thorn in your life?
The thorn is often a messenger from Satan given to batter one and prevent the person from pride unto death. St. Paul had such a thorn in his life and prayed thrice that God may remove it. Behold the response he got; ‘My grace is enough for you: for power is at full stretch in weakness’ (II Corinthians 12:7-9).
May God’s grace and power be manifested in our secret thorn(s) (Amen).
