THE WILL OF GOD

THE WILL OF GOD

Opened my eyes at dawn with this thought; ‘the will of God.’ So I write about the ‘divine will’ as I am made to understand.

“Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven” constitutes a formidable part of the Lord’s prayer, the perfect model of all prayers.
The joy and peace of heaven is a constant reality because God’s will reigns supreme. If our hearts are to experience joy and peace on earth, we ought to let God’s will reign supreme in them. God has plans for you and me amidst the plans we design personally for ourselves and the plans others may have designed for us. When the Spirit is at work, our respective plans and the plans of others for us will harmonize perfectly with the divine plan. But on the contrary, conflicts result when our plans or the plans of others for us does not see through the eye of God. Seeking the will of God in our lives and for the existence of others whom God may have given us temporary control is the best step to be taken if we envision progress in life. God’s will demands a total submission which stems from a loving obedience to God even in obscurity and discomforts.

We shall realize at the end, the joy and peace which no one will ever take from us if we let God’s will be done in our lives and in our world.

Love.
