YEAR A: HOMILY FOR TUESDAY OF THE 3RD WEEK IN ORDINARY TIME (3)

As long as you have repented of your sins and have confessed them, God forgives you. Your past becomes history, and they can no longer stand against you before God.

YEAR A: HOMILY FOR TUESDAY OF THE 3RD WEEK IN ORDINARY TIME

HOMILY THEME: AN OPEN FAMILY

BY: Rev Fr Joseph Nyarko Asare

HOMILY: (Heb 10:1-10/Ps 40/Mk 3:31-35)

I just admire the community that sat with Jesus as the family came in search of Him. They obeyed the very last words of Jesus, the great commission. The gathered were ready to allow others to encounter Jesus. They didn't monopolized the Lord. Beautifully, they informed Jesus that the family was around.

Jesus, respecting the law of giving made Himself a gift to the gathering. They gave Jesus to His human family and Jesus gave himself to that community as one of their own. They became the family of Jesus by listening and doing.

Love is word of Jesus. And the greatest act of love is to introduce people to Jesus. When they receive and live out the message of love, they become members of the family of Jesus.

PRAYER POINTS
~That we can possess and share Jesus with others
~That we will love the Word of God ~For complete openness to the Lord
