YEAR C: HOMILY FOR THE 6TH SUNDAY IN ORDINARY TIME

HOMILY THEME: TRUST IN GOD

BY: Fr Emmanuel Nwokeji

HOMILY: Jeremiah 17:5-8, Luke 6:17,20-26, 1Cor.15:12,16-20.

There is need to know where our TRUST should be anchored.
God is unchangeable, incorruptible and immortal Being who can neither deceived us nor be deceived.

While creatures are prone to change, corruptible and mortal who can fizzle out of existence at the command of God. When we put our trust in man and other material things all can be lost in this life and world to come.

But when we put our trust in God by subscribing to total dependence on Him, irrespective of our social, political, religious, capital and moral status and position. As we discover that we are in dearly need of God, may He filled us with happiness in this world and life after death.

Fr Emmanuel Nwokeji is in union of prayers with you and your family.
