40 DAYS JOURNEY WITH THE LORD.

DAY 7

Wednesday of the 1st Week of Lent, March 1 2023.

DAILY CHALLENGE: Understand people around you.

DAILY THEME: Stop judging people

Bible Reading – Luke 11:29–32

While still more people gathered in the crowd, Jesus said to them, “This generation is an evil generation; it seeks a sign, but no sign will be given it, except the sign of Jonah. Just as Jonah became a sign to the Ninevites, so will the Son of Man be to this generation. At the judgment the queen of the south will rise with the men of this generation and she will condemn them, because she came from the ends of the earth to hear the wisdom of Solomon, and there is something greater than Solomon here. At the judgment the men of Nineveh will arise with this generation and condemn it, because at the preaching of Jonah they repented, and there is something greater than Jonah here.”

PRAY WITH ME

Lord, teach me to be merciful to others and not being too quick to condemn others. Let me not think myself as so perfect that I may consider others as nothing before you. Help me remember that you came not only for the righteous but also for sinners. Let your grace always abide with me to enable me to obey your ordinances. And let your Holy Spirit accompany me to make this journey faithfully to the end, so that it may bear fruit in my life. Amen.

(Say this prayer as many times as you can, today)
