The Lord Is Preparing You For Greatness

Having been disciplined a little, they will receive great good, because God tested them and found them worthy of Himself; like gold in the furnace He tried them, and like a sacrificial burnt offering He accepted them. In the time of their visitation they will shine forth, and will run like sparks through the stubble. Wisdom 3: 5-7

Although, to the world, we are wallowing in suffering, but to God, we are being purified and made worthy. Although it seems as though God has abandoned us, God is actually treating us of our infirmities and imperfections. He’s making us worthy to be called His children.

Like gold, he strengthens us through fire, making us shine brighter, and become more authentic. He strengthens us through the fire of suffering and disappointment. And although at that point, you can barely understand what is happening, you eventually look back and understand. Although in the face of disappointment you feel frustrated and alone, God wants you to know that there is no glory without a cross. There’s no victory without a tiring and exhausting race.

The whole world seems to be against you now but the Lord is preparing you. He’s preparing you to occupy bigger responsibilities. You will not remain a child forever, you will not handle petty issues forever. The lord is preparing you for greatness.

Try not to get lost as a result of suffering. Do not doubt God’s power and existence because of suffering. Rather, glorify Him by being true to Him in spite of it all. Keep your hands clean so that God would take care of you like His own child. The dogs and cattle are below us, yet God takes care of them. How much more us?

Please do not forsake God because of challenges. Just keep your hands clean and God will take care of you. He’ll hear you when you call Him. Nothing happens to you without God knowing about it. Just avoid sin and be true to him, He’ll take care of you.

When the time comes, the lord will glorify you and make you shine brighter than you imagined.
