The month of Decemeber

The month of Decemeber

The twelve calendar month is completed with December. December is a month in which lots of people strive to meet up with numerous endeavors and undertakings in order to plan for the year ahead. Asides being the last month of the year, It is also a month of much celebrations with Christmas being the climax. Shopping malls, local and international markets are often crowded at this time than ever with cost of commodites and services skyrocketing.

December is a month of many travels. The land, sea and air are very busy in December as there are lots of rush to be happily united with loved ones probably after long periods of separation.

December is a month of love. Gifts flow like a river in December. It is a month that often witness an increase in corruption in terms of moral decadence and crime. The travel rush in December often causes scores of accidents. Fear and anxiety not to die before the new year is also a mark of December for many people.

This December, let our minds be focused on Christ who will be born for us at Christmas. We should take things easy with much prayers. We should reachout to love and live peacefully with one another. We should remember that life continues after December.

I bless this December for you and your family. May God watch over you and keep you. May He provide for you in abundance and make the year 2016 end in testimony for you. I bless you in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.

Love,

Fr. Abiagom Augustine cm
