THE HIDING PLACE

At certain points in life, we consciously or unconsciously seek for a hiding place. Hiding place in this reflection is a resting place. It is a place of safety, joy and peace. A place where one lies down and sleep comes at once. Is there a place like that on earth you could recommend to me?

Can the beauty of a material place, its comfort and serenity heal a broken heart and uplift a down trodden spirit? Can its security expel complete fear from the human mind and its comfort take away want? Is there any such place you could recommend to me?

Is it possible to finding a hiding place in a place like modern Syria, parts of Haiti and Florida hit by the recent hurricane? Could the Isis prison be a hiding place?

Any heart given to God in love has found a hiding place irrespective of the material place and condition of existence. God’s love is the hiding place.
